Natalie has a passion for helping women learn the benefits of strength training and feel confident in the weight room, teaching kids how to exercise safely and effectively, and showing the general public how to use exercise as a tool to reduce pain and aid in recovery. In her free time, Natalie enjoys competing competitively in obstacle course races, weightlifting, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

He has a strong foundation in injury prevention due to his experience working in a physical therapy clinic for 3 years which he uses to help his clients achieve their goals by building a program that surrounds their needs. He has a passion for pushing his clients towards reaching their fitness goals through functional training and learning proper body mechanics. His background in sports training and strength training allows him to work with a wide variety of clients.

The Athletic Reformer class focuses on fun, high-intensity exercises performed on various Pilates equipment. These high-intensity workouts may include jump boards, reformers, chairs, towers, and trapeze tables and focus on stability, balance, and cardio fun!

Pilates will help ease low back pain, build the strength for your hips and knees either before or after surgery or as prevention. Sabrina is a certified Polestar Pilates instructor who brings joy, enthusiasm, and fun to her instruction. She incorporates all Pilates apparatuses (Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Mat, and Spine corrector) to help her clients achieve their wellness goals. Sabrina blends her education and professional experience (Master of Social Work and twenty years as a public health researcher) to develop classes and private sessions that are deeply committed to the mind-body practice of Pilates. TSabrina continues to seek training and continuing education in athletic Pilates, strength and aging, and trauma-informed/mindfulness techniques.

Andrea Branoff is an experienced, passionate Pilates instructor certified through Power Pilates. She completed the Comprehensive Certification of over 600 hours, which included training on all Pilates apparatus and all skill levels of clients. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and continues to renew her certification to stay fresh and modern with her instruction. Andrea was brought to Pilates through her love of dance, which brings with her a keen eye for alignment and joy to the movement of the body. She instructs with a joyful heart!

Dina Krois is an ACE certified personal trainer, with a specialty certification in Behavioral Change and brings years of instructional experience to the MAC training team. Dina is also a Peak comprehensively trained Pilates instructor, a 500 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) and a group fitness instructor. Her training sessions emphasize proper form and alignment, breathing, core strength and coordination. Dina is always seeking new fitness knowledge and enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds and skills.

Linda Reiff is a certified Pilates teacher with Fletcher Pilates, having worked in the Pilates field for 12 years. She has been fortunate to be able to incorporate her knowledge of Pilates with physical therapy as a licensed PTA at the Willows of Okemos.

Aqua Yoga, or water yoga, involves practicing yoga in the water and is a fantastic way to vary your yoga routine. This is a great way to move your body and enjoy the benefits of yoga while reducing joint impact and providing a different stimulus/resistance for your muscles. As with yoga on land, Aqua Yoga is designed for all fitness levels and allows the practitioner to choose the intensity and flow of their workout. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate

Rhythm Ride brings the beats and choreography of the hottest cycle studios to the MAC. During this 45-minute cycle class, expect loads of high-intensity intervals and fun choreography all while moving to the beat of each unique and energetic playlist. Power yoga is a more challenging vinyasa flow class that combines the alignment and deep focus of Iyengar
with the fluidity and energy of Ashtanga, using breath as the vehicle. This form of yoga challenges the mind,
the body, and the spirit to work as one to detox, heal, and open the individual physically, emotionally and
spiritually. Intermediate to advanced level class. Not intended for beginning students.

Restore and Flow Yoga offers both Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The first half of class is an all-levels flow connecting breath with movement, allowing the practitioner to align, stretch and strengthen through gentle yoga poses. The remaining 25 minutes of class is devoted to restorative poses on the mat, utilizing props (blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps) to guide the body into a relaxed state. Essential oils are offered at the beginning to help open the sinuses and at the end to evoke deep relaxation.

The TRX Pilates class combines mat Pilates and equipment- based Pilates exercises, performing them on the TRX suspension trainer. This strength-based class is a perfect complement to your traditional Pilates and fitness practice, focusing on using your core musculature to control your own body weight. Pilates is wonderful for elongating the spine and with the use of the TRX you can take your practice to the next level. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness.

Hatha is an alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Traditional asanas are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. Within this framework, the class is sometimes taught as flow but also can pause to work on alignment.

Tai chi is a gentle exercise styles that uses movement and mindfulness to increase flexibility, improve balance and help walking.
Concentrating on smooth, flowing movement, along with breathing, helps people with Parkinson’s relax their body. It reduces stress with an impact on reducing pain, boosting immunity, and improving general health over time.
Join Dawei, a Tai Chi instructor with over 30 years of mind and body training, for the newest offering in our Parkinson’s Program.

This nurturing class is designed to improve the quality of life and feelings of well-being in individuals with Parkinson's. Yoga has demonstrated helpful impacts on the sturdiness of gait and visibly decreasing tremors according to the American Parkinson Disease Association (ADPA). This class will work on improving posture and balance, increasing flexibility and strength, reducing tightness and pain, and assisting functional mobility and stability. We will use a myriad of tools (chairs, aerials silks hanging from the ceiling to assist balance, blocks, straps, music, the wall, etc) to support and challenge the body in just-right amounts.
